How to Renew an LEI Code
LEI Codes require annual renewal in order to keep the data contained in the LEI system fresh and up to date.
To renew an LEI simply begin by navigating to the 'Renew LEI' tab in the RAMP registration portal.
If you wish to renew an LEI code, but the LEI is not managed by LEI Worldwide, you will first need to transfer the LEI to our management. Please see the transfer guide.
Steps to Renew an LEI:
Enter your entity name, or LEI code in the search bar and click continue. Choose your LEI from the dropdown.
Once you have found your LEI requiring renewal, click select.
The checkout process is similar to registering a new LEI code.
Choose your package by selecting the desired number of years, if you want the LEI to renew automatically, PDF certificate and finally tick the Terms & Conditions.
Once you have completed payment you will receive a confirmation emailing containing details of your order, and the order will be placed on the system.
In most cases, the LEI will be renewed within a couple of hours.
